How to play Quick Math
Quick Math is a ten-question mental arithmetic game with addition, subtraction and multiplication. Choose from four answers for each question. Correct answers earn the main points, with a small bonus for responding quickly.
The rules
- Read the arithmetic question and identify the operation.
- Select one of the four answers. The game shows the correct result before moving on.
- Answer all ten questions to finish the round and record your total score.
Controls
Click or tap an answer. You can also use Tab to focus an answer and Enter or Space to select it.
How scoring works
A correct answer earns 100 points plus up to 50 speed points. The bonus falls by one point per 0.1 seconds and reaches zero after five seconds. An incorrect answer earns zero.
Tips for your next round
- Check the operation before calculating; confusing addition and multiplication costs the whole question’s points.
- Use familiar number facts or break a calculation into smaller parts. A correct slower answer still earns 100 points.
Will a question time out?
No. The speed bonus eventually reaches zero, but you can still answer correctly for 100 points.
Can I retry the same questions?
Daily challenge repeats the day’s question set. Free play generates a fresh set for each new round.
